The Laramie Project

October 5 - 21, 2018 Fridays and Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2:30

A play based on the historical events of October 6, 1998 in Laramie, Wyoming. One month after the incident the Tectonic Theater Project conducted over 200 interviews of the citizens of Laramie and out of these interviews, journal entries, and found texts, The Laramie Project was born. Hailed as one of the most captivating and encompassing pieces of contemporary theatre, the play shocks, challenges, and moves all who watch it as it reveals the lowest depths of hatred and greatest heights of compassion that lies with in all human beings in any seemingly average community.

The Hallelujah Girls

 November 30 - December 16 2018 Fridays and Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2:30

Hilarity abounds when the feisty females of Eden Falls, Georgia, decide to shake up their lives. The action in this rollicking Southern comedy takes place in SPA-DEE-DAH!, the abandoned church-turnedday-spa where this group of friends gathers every Friday afternoon. After the loss of a dear friend, the women realize time is precious, and if they're going to change their lives and achieve their dreams, they have to get on it now! This is a side-splitting, joyful comedy that will make you laugh out loud and shout "Hallelujah!"

The Nerd

May 3 - 19 2019 Fridays and Saturdays at 8, Sundays at 2:30

Now an aspiring young architect in Terre Haute, Indiana, Willum Cubbert has often told his friends about the debt he owes to Rick Steadman, a fellow ex-GI whom he has never met but who saved his life after he was seriously wounded in Vietnam. He has written to Rick to say that, as long as he is alive, "you will have somebody on Earth who will do anything for you"—so Willum is delighted when Rick shows up unexpectedly at his apartment on the night of his thirtyfourth birthday party. But his delight soon fades as it becomes apparent that Rick is a hopeless "nerd"—a bumbling oaf with no social sense, little intelligence and less tact. And Rick stays on and on leading to one uproarious incident after another.
